12th Annual International Gator Day

On May 15th 2010 we hosted International Gator Day for Volusia County. 
A day when all Great Gators get together to do something for their community.  The Gator Club®
of Volusia County partnered with "Habitat for Humanity" in New Smyrna Beach. 

Our work day began at 8 a.m. and ended around noon. 

We did not need to bring anything with us to the job site.  We just wore old comfortable
clothing, and closed toe shoes.  Construction experience is definitely not required. 
The site we met at was: 192 Spruce Street in New Smyrna Beach, this is right around the corner from
where we worked last year.  We remembered that this is a construction site so please we
wore old clothes and no sandals. We brought a fold out chair to enjoy our cookout after work.

In 2010, we had over 30 Volunteers from
our club, and we hope next year we will see even
more of our Gator's support Habitat.
