Marty is a native of New York and a UF Graduate, Journalism-1982.  Began his career with the
Independent Florida Alligator.  He has been a correspondent for The Tampa Tribune,
Orlando Sentinel and The Tallahassee Democrat and has worked with Gator Bait since 1981. 
He left in 1985 to work at The Fort Myers News-Press, but came back to
Gator Bait in 1987.  He left again in 1989, to work with The Florida TODAY. Came back to Gator Bait in 1991,
as Editor, and was named General Manager in 1999.  Marty also does a weekly TV Show, Gator Beat, on WUFT
Channel 5, for the past 3 years during football and basketball season and does a weekly radio show with
Steve Russell on WRUF AM-850.

Marty will be able to give us his unique outlook on Gator Sports
with a keen eye for football program recruits.
