Brady "Ack" Ackerman
Brady Ackerman
otherwise known as the "ACK" is a former running back at the University of
Florida
from 1987-1991, a career that included 1 career touchdown. He was a member
of the first Official SEC
Champion team at Florida in 1991. Following his playing career he served as a
Graduate Assistant
football coach at Florida on the 1993 SEC Championship Team. He then moved on to
coach running backs and
serve as the recruiting coordinator at Valdosta State under former Kentucky
Coach Hal Mumme.
He left coaching in 1997 as the running backs coach at Jacksonville St. (1-AA)
to work with 930 WNZS.
In addition to his roles on the radio he serves as a CO-host on Saturday Morning
College Kickoff on
Sunshine Network (Saturday, 10AM) in the football season.
Ack moved to Gainesville Dec 1, 2000 . He now Hosts the "Sports Zone "
Monday-Friday from 7-10 am
on ESPN Radio The Game 1230 WGGG Gainesville and 900 WMOP Ocala. Brady is a 1992
graduate of the
University of Florida where he lettered in Football. He is from Jacksonville
Beach and attended Fletcher High School.
