Brady Ackerman currently hosts the top am show with “The Morning Drive” weekdays from 7-10am on the new ESPN radio.
Ackerman recently left his post as afternoon drive host on the ESPN affiliate in Orlando to take on his new partnership with Doering.

He also serves as a studio pre-game analyst for Sun Sports during college football season In addition to his studio role
Brady serves as the color analyst at Sun Sports for all Florida High School Football Finals games.

Brady has worked in radio and television for the past eight years beginning in Jacksonville at AM 930 and with
Sports Channel Florida in television. Prior to his work in the media he served as an assistant football coach at
Valdosta State, Jacksonville State, Adams State and as a graduate assistant at the University of Florida. He worked
under current head coaches Steve Spurrier, Mike Leach, Hal Mumme and Ron Zook. Brady was a running back at the
University of Florida from 1987-1991, lettering two seasons. He was a member of the first official SEC championship team in 1991.
He received his degree from Florida in May 1992 in Public Recreations. He lives in Ocala, Florida with his wife is Michele
and two sons Brendan 9 and Preston 5.

Chris Doering (UF 1995) and Brady Ackerman (UF 1992) have acquired the ESPN Radio affiliates in
Ocala (AM 900 WMOP-FM100.1) and Gainesville (AM 1230 WGGG). Both have served on-air in drive
time capacities and will now take the responsibility of ownership. Doering a former All American Wide Receiver
at Florida, is in the Gator Sports Hall of Fame and played nine seasons in the NFL. Ackerman a former running
back was a member of Florida’s first official  SEC title team in 1991 and has been a regional television
broadcaster for the past ten years.

Doering and Ackerman formed their new company Florida Sports Radio, Inc. to serve as the vehicle
for the “New” ESPN Radio. FSR’s vision  is  to continue to give great local sports talk combined with national talk
and major sporting events. Doering  knows the value of local ownership, ” we want to leave our footprints in the
community with everything we do, we both live here and want to continue to raise our families in North Central Florida”.
The Ocala affiliate is home to all Gator Sports coverage and the company has launched a new website www.espngo1.com.
Ackerman agrees that the local flavor and the Gators are big to area listeners, “ UF is what drives the interest and with
our experience and being former athletes we feel we give our listeners a unique perspective”. Both ex-Gators will continue to
raise money for local charities in North Central Florida (Doering with  the YMCA of Gainesville) and
(Ackerman for  the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marion County) as well as create new special events for listeners and fans.
